Alexis Brown: What to major in to be a crime scene investigator?
Crime scene investigators collect evidence from the crime scene. What would I major in?
Are you sure forensic science is good, I’ve heard never to major in forensic science for certain forensic jobs.
I’ve read that getting a degree in science is better. a bachelor in science or chemistry or biology is what I’ve been told. It goes more in dept with science and not just forensics. I don’t fully get it either, but that’s what everyone says.

edit:
Why wouldn’t it be “good”? You want to be a crime scene investigator, right? F.S. is a major entirely dedicated to that.
A major in biology or chemistry allows you to do blood, tissue and fluid analysis, assess insect damage on a decayed corpse or the rate of decomposition by the amount of fluid found in the soil beneath a victim, and allows you to do that nitty gritty analysis of rotting tissue that CSI investigators do.
