Brendan: JoBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????
I would like to raise enough money to buy a computer and a monitor by next Christmas at the start of 2012 at the very latest, but I don’t have a job. My parents won’t let me babysit or mow lawns either. I have given out flyers for dog watching/walking almost 2 whole months ago, but nobody’s emailed me or called me yet. I don’t think that I could work at a job like a bakery or a supermarket either because I’m 12 years old. I can’t think of any other jobs. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. (also, I would like to keep the computer from $ 600-$ 750 and a monitor from $ 125-$ 175, any tips on what computers/monitors to get would be appreciated)

Well, since you are 12 your could talk to your parents, make a deal with them. Do weekly chores in the house for some money which will be deposited in a savings account and at the end of next year the money will be used to buy your computer. It will be a win / win situation, and a computer is a good investment since you can use it for school projects and stuff.
You can always do newspaper route. I remember when I was 13 I get 50$ every two weeks for sending people’s newspaper around. Also your 12… you don’t need a computer yet but you need to focus in school but if you do find a decent small job and want to buy a computer then i suggest you buy a laptop since it belongs to you and there are always specials on products. For a desktop, you need to figure out what type of computer do you want first.
