No, spanish doesn’t directly translate to english in sentence structure. To get a good back and forth translation at all you can’t use a computer program, you have to type it out, and a translation company will have it back to you quick. Try this, take any spanish document, and translate it word by word, and see if it makes sense. You have to rearrange and put some thought into it to understand it if you don’t know spanish. A computer couldn’t do that, it’s not an exact science, something a human brain has to figure out, at least until we have computers that think like us.

There are a few translators out there, but it’s been my experience that the translations are literal and therefore incorrect. The best way to translate is using the dictionary and working with the context of the sentence. Yahoo has a good spanish to english dictionary online.
