I would think that any hotel would take cash – what do you mean? You may have to put down a deposit if you plan on using the phone or ordering from room service but any hotel has to take cash. I’ve never heard of a hotel refusing cash.

The reason most hotels want a credit card is in case you have trashed the room and they need to bill the credit card for the damage they can verify your age that way. On check out they ask for your credit card, instead of paying with the card just ask if they accept cash.
