Is there a motel near the airport in Minneapolis?

ctimm5: Is there a motel near the airport in Minneapolis?
We will spend the night at the motel and fly out in the morning. ICan we leave our car at the motel and take a shuttle to airport, specifically to the Hubert Humphrey terminal?

There I several hotels near the airport – they have different rules on leaving your car but many do allow it. There are Hiltons, Hyatt, Holiday Inn and Mariott to name a few. There are also some discount chains but I don’t think they have a shuttle – Most have airport shuttles BUT DON”T ASSUME THEY DO. If you want to save a few dollars – you can be a little farther west on the 494 strip I think there is a Park Place in Bloomington that is quite a bit less expensive than the biggies closer to the airport and still only 7 or 8 miles away.

Well I do know there is a hotel near the Humphrey Terminal called the Embassy Suites. You can stay there one night and when you wake up in the morning you check out and right across the street there’s a Park N Fly station where you can park your car and as soon as you get your baggage a shuttle will take you to the airport. The nice thing about this is that the Embassy is really close to the airport…the only thing between the hotel and the airport is the highway so it will be quick.
