Little Red Riding Hood: Is really everyone capable of committing a passion crime?
Passion crimes are not the type of crimes that needs planning, being hateful or evil and there aren’t always warning signs before it happens.I often hear about these people that they were good, quiet people and noone expected them to do it.They weren’t crazy either. So is really everyone capable of doing such a crime in the heat of anger or passion, when the emotions get out of control?

Capable is a relative term. Human beings are capable of anything, therefore, yes, every person on this planet would be capable of committing a passion crime. I think you’re looking for more information on the reasoning behind it: the thing is, when someone stakes their entire self worth on another individual and that individual rejects them, it sends them into emotional turmoil. As far as they are concerned, their entire sense of self has been destroyed, and in their minds, their very lives. Thus, with nothing to lose, a crime of passion becomes feasible.
Highly selfish people commit these crimes, it speaks volumes about how they think of the world and others.
