I have a new service business and I decided i wanted to become very effective at networking and become a guru at it.

Is networking an effective way to build a client base for my new consulting business?

Networking is a good way to start knowing people then getting them to tell people does start to build some trust for your business obviously being present at a lot of events talking to people basically getting out there and showing that you mean business and are there to help is the best way to do it if you want someone to trust your business you got to show them that you are genuine

Basically convince me why i should trust my buisness to you what do you have over other consultants =) know that you are special and talk to someone as if you know your buisness is better that confidence will show a sign that you know what your talking about and gain some respect
