chris laver: Is it safe to use moneybookers?
I was thinking about moving in with my girl friend, I found a good deal not far from the university. The problem is:
the seller “lives” in the UK. And want me to use moneybookers to complete the deal (moneybookers would keep the money while I check the flat).
Is it a fake ad? I’m not trusting this person so is moneybookers reliable?
Also, the appartment appears to be real (I went to check it out).

Any deal like that originating out of the UK is a scam. They tried to get me once on Craigslist. They said something about the keys are at the Rent.com office but they are currently away in the UK.
