Leah: Is it safe to put lingerie in the washer?
Would it be safe to wash lingerie in the washer on the gentle cycle? Or would it be best to hand wash them?
Lingerie is extremely delicate by the way.

TRY AND THEN TELL US!!!!
I wash delicates in the washer all the time. If you want to wash on the safe side, use the Cold water setting.
Also, air dry flat or hang to air dry. Machine drying really tears delicates apart quickly.

Answer by wardrobebycjFor even more protection, put the items in individual mesh laundry bags. You can find these at places such as Bed, Bath & Beyond, Wal-Mart, Target, and most larger drug stores (like CVS) in the section with ironing boards and other closet and laundry room supplies.Answer by jenetterose85
I would just handwash in the sink with woolite. Even if the washer was safe, handwashing keeps garments from getting frayed or snagged which a washer can’t always prevent.
