How to get internet in my home without a phone line or cable attached?

: How can i get internet in my home without a phone line or cable attached ?
I recently just cancelled my att uverse & internet service because it was too expensive. I just ordered direct tv but when i asked them about internet they say they bundle with att ? But we don’t want anything to do with att anymore so we didn’t get it . Is there any way i can get any other internet servive provider in my home but without a phone line ? Im in the orange county,ca area btw.

I have a Verizon Wireless aircard. It has severe caps, but you might look into it. Check out the box stores like Wal Mart or Radio Shack or Best Buy for a “pay as you go” wireless internet plan.

clear WiMax would probably be the cheapest wireless internet option..

You can get wireless cards for the computer, but those services are not cheap, and data gets used up quickly, since you are basically just using ‘data’…..a rather expensive option…..I use AT&T DSL for $ 14.95 a month…(Dry DSL…no phone…)
