Sam X: If my internet is bad but i get a good Computer will it balance out the online gameplay?
I have an old computer that runs Warcraft 3 fine when it’s not online. But when it is online it is really bad. The game lags like no tomorrow. I think its the internet. If I get a better computer, with a better graphics card and ram, would the game run smoothly with the same internet.

No. Your internet connection has everything to do with it if your graphics are okay. Getting a new computer isn’t going to change your internet connection.
nope it wont. Internet connections have a variable so called bandwidth, which limits the maximum speed u can get out of internet, say for example if ur internet is 256 kbps. you wont get more than 256 kbps from that internet even if u use a super computer.
Just upgrade your internet plan and try again, and ya if ur internet is dialup connection, forget abt gaming on it…its just not feasible
Answer by brianbriabriit could but it depends on your internet sometimes you can have a really bad internet signal or a poor modem so it could but it also could notAnswer by swarmofthebees
You will find it runs more smoothly but no improved online gameplay… With Warcraft 3, if your playing offline with full computer players and its running fine, and you go online and only play say 2 on 2 and it lags, its your Connection.
Depending on what you play, its your Upload speed that mainly affects your connection rate, not your Download speed. so maybe get a faster ISP with a high upload speed before spending any un-needed cash.
Answer by the_special_cobraNo. You need a high speed internet connection, which might be a bit more expensive. You would have to talk to your internet service provider to see what options are available. I hope you don’t still use dial up! Also, you need a good network card.
