nintendoyoshii: Internet?!?
I have a wireless connection, and get my signal from another computer connected to a cable from the wall. His internet works fine. My computer shows that I am getting a good signal, but when I open internet explorer a completley blank page opens, but on the tab, it says my homepage (yahoo).
I have Windows Xp, and use a belkin wireless router. Any help would be appreciated.
There are 3 laptops connected to the network also, and each one works fine.

Try restarting the computer, router, and cable/dsl modem…Also make sure that your computer’s wifi is connected to the router and that your wireless security/encryption is set right. If that doesn’t work, try clearing your browsing cache.
Im confused… Do you connect to a computer to use a shared internet connection or do you use wireless and connect to the belkin wireless router?
This is how everything should be connected.
-Cable from wall to Cable or DSL modem
-Ethernet cable from modem to the WAN (internet) port of the router
-You now can either connect to the router using ethernet cables or wirelessly.
Message me if you need any further help……
