eve a: I want to start a restaurant and I need some advice or opinions?
My idea of this restaurant that I have in mind, is one that specializes on one particular food ingredient, (i wont say what it is) and I will incorporate it into many styles of dishes, including dessert. I want to ask everyone to let me know what types of foods you like or what ingredient you could see yourself using yourself if you were to have a specialty restaurant.

i like rice xD
I like hot dogs, lobster, and chinese. You’ll have to specify and narrow down at least what type of food you want to use.Answer by Omstarts – J.P. Smackenroe
Interesting idea.
The problem you will face is that you will need to choose an ingredient that has a very broad appeal. You will also need to be exceptionally inventive with the different dishes – you will need vegetarian and vegan options to maximise your customer thoroughfare. Can this ingredient be eaten by all?
Even then, there may be people allergic or simply not keen on the ingredient. I personally would find it a bit much – let us for argument’s sake say the ingredient was Cinnamon. I do like it, but would I want this on starter, main course and dessert?
You will find that even restaurants with a theme, such as fish/sushi restaurants, will have other things to complement the seafood – obviously the desserts!
My honest opinion – maybe rethink your remit slightly – but I like the idea, see if you can refine it!
All the best…

Answer by Pennyadvise; work in a restaurant first. It gives a dam good idea how everything works down to the food, orders, staff, stoke, equipment, etc
Also you have to have alot of money up front. So a loan would be good. Talk to the banks.
Opinions; check out where you wanna start your restaurant and fine out what is lacking in the area. Also do your research about the food types. Because if you can’t get supplies for you food…then it will be costly in the long run.Answer by Kaitlynn
do a pizza restaurant. i love baking u no like cookies and cakes im so goodAnswer by L S
Chili peppers. However I certainly can’t see using this in a dessert. It’s a funny thing but Chili’s restaurant doesn’t use chili peppers in any dish unless they just don’t specify it. Why not go for the gusto and use it in almost every dish. Most people like spicy food anyway and it is a completely different kind of hot than jalepeno.
