Sooo being the needy greedy teenager I am, I want money. I thought since I like to cook and am pretty good at it I could start selling cookies at my school. People like food 😉
I want to sell cookies at my school for about $ 1 or so. Can I do this? Or would 50 cents be better? People are willing to pay $ 1 for a candy bar but I need money fast.
Ooh and any good recipe ideas?

You better get permission first. I don’t think you will be allowed to do that on school property. You might get in trouble with the health dept. too.

My cafeteria sells cookies for 75 cents. Last year it was 50 cents. Since you are just selling them, then I think you should sell them for 50 cents. That way more people will buy and you might make more money. My faovite kind of cookie is chocolate chip of coarse and I think many people like chocolate chip too. Heres a recipe:

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely

You need to check with your school before you start selling food or any item on their property. You also need to check with your local health department to see if you can sell baked goods made from your home. Some places allow it but many do not. If you are allowed to sell on campus then 50 cents is probably the best price. You can get cookies at a bakery for 50 cents each.

as far as recipes go chocolate chip and peanut butter are always a hit. make them big and worth the money. Good luck

i would say 50sent small and 1$ larger and plz get premmision or why don’t you cell them somewhere else like at home and you know how people put signs garage sale, yard sale, you can right bake sale.

hint:try using betty crockers ready to make cookie mixes it will be more easier or if you don’t mind time you can make homemade and right homemade bake sale.

okay put the price at 50 cents . if the price is lower people will tend to buy more and more people will buy
