Try the mall.
retail, or logistics… maybe a mechanic… all very good ground base to start of with…Answer by wbmustard
Yeah the mall could work. There’s a lot of small businesses around that hire that’s not fast food.Answer by Ms.6
Yeah you could try working at the mall in retail. Are you a good typist? You could try to get a job in an office. Or you could try a call center. Try getting a teacher to write you a letter of recommendation. That may get out of food service.Answer by Kay 08
the mall, you have a lot of job experience they should hire you.Answer by Ian Y
If you want a job that isn’t in fast food then you need to act like you really want it. Be persistent at a place where there are openings but do not be very naggy. Where proper attire, make a resume and get your act together and be professional! Also having open availability is very attractive to employers. It also depends where you want to work. If you had an idea where you wanted to work I could give you some pointers on how to get that specific job.Answer by Debbie S
I’m going to tell you something you might not like to hear. If you are only 17 years old and you have had four jobs, there is a reason companys are reluctant to hire you.
I work human resources. Unemployment is so high right now that I have my choice of qualified applicants to choose from. If someone has job jumped (more than three jobs in ten years), then I immediately reject their application.
Reason: It takes a lot of money and time to train someone to work. I want someone is wants to be around for the long haul.
You need to write a cover letter to submit with each application you fill out or resume you send to a company that states: I know I have had several jobs over the past few years, however, I am now looking for long term employment and wish to learn a trade…blah blah blah.
