i keep getting capital one “you could have this credit card”….?

4MB3R! (:: i keep getting capital one “you could have this credit card”….?
so i keep getting these mails, and th thing is i’m 14 and i don’t put my name on surveys, i don’t even do them! or anything on the internet except yahoo. why do i keep getting these and how do i stop them?
my family has grown up without credit cards, and we do extremely well. i’m not going to have one when i get older (:

If the offers are coming in the mail your name got on a mailing list…somehow..
If your are getting them through email do not worry about it.. This is because you have an email account.
Have one of your parents contact them and tell them they are making an offer to a minor..
When you are old enough to get a card DO NOT go with Capital One they will rip you off and even when you pay them off they will still tell you that you own them money

Run a free credit check on yourself. It could be that someone else has stolen your identity and has credit cards in your name.

Somehow your name has showed up on a mailing list. Have your parents call and remove you from their mailing list. Make sure you shred those offers.
