destiny_34_2000: I got am email from a guy in London wanting to buy my iguana…?
he wants to send someone over to pick my lizard up, but wants my address and phone number and wants to send me a western union e-money order for 3800 dollars, ($ 500.00) for the iguana and the rest to pay for his guy a flight back and all the customs fees. Is there something fishy about this?

Heck yeah…sorry but this sounds like a majot scam. Why wouldn’t he get one at a pet shop for much cheaper price? It just doesn’t make any sense
how does anyone know your e-mail address and know that you have an iguana? did you put it on ebay or something???Answer by delecia
it sounds wierd but idkAnswer by Anonymous girl
This sounds more reptilian than fishy. But anyway, you should have the money up front. Western Union isn’t always recommended due to fraud.Answer by strike_eagle29
SOUNDS LIKE A NIGERIAN SCAM TO ME. IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD IT’S PROBABLY A SCAM. GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCT. WHY WOULD A GUY FROM ENGLAND WANT AN IGUANA THAT YOU CAN BUY AT ANY PET STORE IN ENGLAND. MAKES NO SENSE.
IT COULD BE THE POLICE TRYING TO GET YOU FOR INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL TRADING. BE CAREFULAnswer by MechBob
Fishy? Heck it stinks to high heaven!
He doesn’t need to buy your Iguana, he can get one cheaper in London.
He is fishing and you need to ignore the bait.
If he persists, contact your internet provider by email or phone and give them the info they’ll need.
They can investigate and verify who he is.
