Jennifer132: Can my husband quit his job and I keep the health insurance?
My husband wants to switch jobs, but I am pregnant and for complex reasons need to stay with my insurance (through his work). Can I stay with the same insurance indefinitely if he quits and not have my plan/benefits change at all?

No more than likely not. His employer is giving him the benefits, so if he is no longer with the company then he doesn’t get insurance from them.
Unless they were super friendly and oddly helpful.
Answer by Lolita M.You will be covered by COBRA after he leaves his company for up to 18 months, however if you are late into your pregnancy you will not be able to get a policy on your child until childbirth if he decides to get a new policy. At the same time you are considered a dependent so if your husband cancels his insurance policy then unfortunately that will mean you as well, you can not stay insured under a policy because you are a dependent upon his policy, he is the initial insured individual.

Answer by Maria KOf course it will change if he quits the job. The company provides their employees with benefits and insurance to keep them working for them. If he quits all benefits and insurances covered by the company will also be forfeited.
