It would effect you not at all.
The checks continue to go out the money is still printed life goes on as usual except Congress stops making laws, lobbyist have no clients because they all went home. staff who work for Congress have a vacation.
This is not the first time this has happened.
Actually the reason we are here is the democrats who controlled both houses of congress and the presidency decided to not even offer a budget. It was officially announced June of 2010.
The Gov is spending 3.4 trillion a yr and rising. 3.4 trillion is 3,400 billions. The Rep. are fighting the Dem. to cut more than just a mere 33 billion from that enormous figure. The Democrats are bemoaning the fact that they can’t live on on a budget of less than 3,367 Billions.
The Gov only receives 2.5 trillion a short fall of nearly a trillion a yr., and pays 169 billion a year in interest to America’s debt holders.
