: How to study NYSE companies in complete detail?
How to study different companies (the asset) and estimate the return of my investments?

From what source can i get that information for studying a companies detail?

I mean should i look at the balance sheet ???

I am not a business student so I don’t have much information about how to do this.

Please guide me how to study different companies that are listed on different stock exchanges in complete detail.

You just type in the name of the company in this site:

and then click on Profile. or to see how the stock has performed in the past, you can click on the “1 year” and select “all data” instead.

You can refer to their own websites and go through all the details like future outlook , recent announcements , management and their past performance, Earning Per share , Dividend Per Share. All this will help you to judge a company.
To get a detail research about a company you can refer to dalal street investment journal.

go to a library – should be one in Santa Clara county that has “Value Line Survey” and look for good combinations of potential appreciation (take 55% off the 5 year prediction to be close to reality) and safety and timeliness.
