SKM: How to shave in flight? Is shaving kit (razors, blades etc) allowed in international flights?
I need to shave my beard everyday since many of them turned gray. However while in international flight(which takes around 25 hours) how would I shave? Are blades, razors, shaving cream allowed in international flights? If not then how would one shave in flight?

you wouldnt you need to wait.
blades are considered a weapon.
shaving cream isn’t allowed either.
wait til your back at the airport or something.
Safety razors and less than 3 oz. cans of shaving foam are allowed and many airlines offer them in business and 1st class. Just go in the bathroom and shave, I usually bring along an electric razor on long flights, it’s a lot easier than foam and razors in a cramped airplane bathroom. Electric and safety razors are not prohibited and are perfectly fine to bring onto an airplane, at least in the US and Asia where I fly to and from frequently.

Why bother?
I’ve done a 22 hour journey London to Hawaii and was a bit stubbly.
Unless I was going straight into a very important business meeting it doesn’t matter!
If you must take an electric razor.
Answer by aflumpireyou would not be able to shave on board the aircraft as razors may be seen as a dangerous weapon and shaving cream may be to much liquid.
My tip is to shave say 30 mins before you go to the airport, check your shaving things/toiletries in with your baggage…and then as soon as you can once you arrive, shave again!
25 hours is just over a day; in sure that you can survive at least 27 hours without a shave!
Answer by agooddubWait until you reach the baggage reclaim hall and use one of the rest rooms for a wash and brush up. everyone does it. they even have vending machines for razors and after shave lotion. make sure you have some of the local currency.Answer by iansand9876
This is an ideal opportunity to eschew shaving. Forever.Answer by 203
Personally I can survive with a little stubble until I get to my destination.
If you insist on shaving perhaps a small electric travel shaver would be an easier option.
Answer by Purple Monkey DishwasherYes, Razors and Shaving cream are allowed onboard, however with a maximum of 100mL, which shouldn’t be too hard. Airline such as Singapore Airlines offer free Razor Blades and Shaving cream in economy class and it should be mandatory that in Business and First class on most airlines would provide you one in their Amenity Kit that they offer.
Otherwise yes, you are allowed to bring one one. There is a plug in the lavatory for an electric shaver if you have one. Just remember the magic number of 100mL of liquids and it should be displayed in a clear plastic bag for security reasons.
