Bob: How to prevent being an involuntarily “spammer”?
How can I post stuff to my group without sending mails to everyone in the group? I would like to start topics, answer other posts etc without notifying the entire group of this activity.

it all depends on what other members mail settings are. if most are set to individual, they’ll get every post regardless. there’s really nothing or any setting to change this either. how it works is you send a post to the group- web readers (no mail setting) read off the group and skip over what doesn’t interest them. mail members (individual setting) get’s every post. digest members get’s posts in batches of 25 or with in 24 hrs, which ever comes first
