: How to help my dad get through a broken heart?
My dad’s girlfriend mentioned moving back to where she originally lived before she came to live by my dad so they could date. My dad really loves this lady and, although nothings official yet, I have the feeling she might move. She doesn’t seem comfortable here. I am a 13 year old girl and need advice on how to help my dad. I know there’s no certain time, but how long do heartbreaks usually last?

Bless you for being such a caring daughter,
You can’t help in their relationship but you can be a great source of support to your Dad if it all goes wrong just by showing him how much you love him 🙂
Heartbreaks are never the same for any 2 people, but it can be shortened by encouraging your Dad to get out and about with friends etc, and again supporting and loving him
