Tyler: How to get my parents to accept the fact I want to be a marine when I grow up?
I’m only 14 turning 15 in a couple of months, so I still have plenty of time to think about it. But so do they. My parents known already I want to go and be a marine. But my parents ate stubborn. I’d hate just to take off when I’m an adult and just walk out. I want them to understand what I wantto do and to approve of that. Any suggestions. Also it has nothing to do with this question but what are good ways to prepare for marines.

Well make sure your parents know and tell them that you want to fight and defend your country. They may think differently if they hear this. Also let them know that everyone has a profession that they love to do and that is yours so hopefully they accept the fact.
And for your second question I would excersise everyday as getting in the Marines is not as easy as picking flowers. They go through intense boot-camps and such. So you might as well get in shape before hand so you are ready when you can join the marines.
Also you I ould go on the marines official website and they may provide further info.
