I really want to be a punk princess for halloween, but i don’t know how i’m going to do my hair, dress like, and i dont know about the make-up. I really need to know how to look like a punk princess at the halloween dance coming up.

wearr really heavy eye liner and have your hair teased then wear like black nail polish andd stuff and then wear a tiara and dress?

HAIR::::put it up messy, but in a neat kind of way, and have a spikey headband..put like black and pink streaks in it.

MAKE-UP::::dark eyeshadow, and lipstick.

CLOTHES:::: kind of a torn-up dress, but again, in a neat kind of way. with spikey stuff on it. and make it a black and pink, so it will match ur hair.

SHOES:::: black HIGH heels, almost like a boot heel.

Okay then! *claps hands together and smiles* So… what I’m gonna describe is what I would do myself. So it could very well be a case of different strokes for different folks.

For the hair, you could do a modded “mohawk”. Kind of like what Pink did in one of her videos. Gel down the hair on the sides and comb the hair in front up and over to the back, all high-like. Or, if you have shortish hair. You could style your hair like Bill Kaulitz’s in the Dursh Den Monsun video. I wouldn’t wear a tiara. It’s a bit pageanty. What you could do is wear a rhinestone studded band in your hair. Like what Natalie Portman did at the Oscars.

You should wear silver coloured jewelry because it goes with almost everything, and it won’t look as tacky as gold coloured stuff. Wear a chain-link type choker. Or layer different sized necklaces. Leather studded wrist cuff on one wrist. Or a fingerless glove on one hand. NEVER BOTH!!! The shoes should be dominatrix inspired. Black leather straps with metal bits here and there.

Wear a short black dress that flares at the bottom and has alternating black and pink tulle at the base. Pink is pretty punk princess, I hear. It can be strapless if you want, or you can get one with thin straps that shows a little cleavage (tastefully of course) Try to get a dress that has a single rhinestone skull-and-crossbones near the bottom of one side. Asymmetry is very anti-The Man, ergo very punk indeed. If you can’t find one, buy some glittery stuff that stick on clothes and an artsy friend to help you.

For the makeup… Get really long fake eyelashes and then use some eyeliner and eye shadow to get a smokey effect. Use a pale colour for the cheeks and a pale pink for the lips. You want to look like a punk princess, not a punk hooker. Don’t get fake nails. Just clean yours and cover them with a colourless gloss that shines in the light.

wear: plaid, neon pink/green, skulls, high-tops/converses, chains, black, fishnet gloves/leggings,and a tiara!

hair: buy pink hair spray paint (cheap at Walgreens), put body glitter in your hair, flip it around, then put the hairspray on in chunks!

make-up: wear lots of shiny, pink eye shadow then add eyeliner and mascara! Also, don’t forget the lip gloss!
