Jay M: How should a teenager react to the following scenario?
A teenager is promised a reward for cleaning the floors of three bathrooms, a laundry room, and a kitchen. The floors are heavily soiled, and the teenager was told that they would be given the reward before they began the task.
However, after the job is finished, the employer says that one of the bathroom floors was unsatisfactory, so the employer cleans it, and tells the teenager that they will receive no reward. What is an acceptable reaction by the teenager?

Quit
QUIT! And I would report the employer to his or her boss (if they have one).Answer by beez
The employer, parent or whoever the authority figure is in this scenario is an ass. The teenager should never trust them again and get away from them, if possible.Answer by Av M
I would be upset if i wasn’t even given the opportunity to correct my error…the employer to at least try to be fair should compensate for the work that WAS done to his satisfaction…but if I was the teen I would find new employment…Answer by Ariel
