I am emailing an obvious scammer and he keeps saying that Paypal needs the tracking number for shipped items in order to credit your account for them. I don’t think so.

And also, say I ship it and i type in the tracking number on paypal (if there even is a place to do that), can’t he just take the money back after the item is shipped before paypal credits my account?
I am the one shipping the package to a buyer.

Are you a buyer returning an item to the seller for credit? Do you have an open dispute for an item?
