: How or who do I report a spammer to that keeps using the same nickname on YA?
There is a live feed spammer that has had one account deleted today and just signed up for another account with the same nickname and is continuing to spam. It’s really annoying me.
I don’t know if the first time the spammer had his account it was automatically deleted or not. The ID number for this new account is different though.

There are hundreds of them, reporting is no use. There is a thread on the forum where many users are reporting abuse on this spam to try to control it.
It is not even a human being. There are “bots” that can create a new account and answer 20 questions in 3 minutes. “60 Minutes” tv show had a feature on a guy who can create 200 new Yahoo accounts in 1 minute. He can solve any “captcha”.
Hover your cursor over ABOUT at the top of this page. Choose “Suggestion Board”. There is a Battle Thread but there is also a wonderful post about what to do about spammers.
