How old should the miniature bride and the flower girl be?

G: How old should the miniature bride and the flower girl be?
I have a 3 year old and a 7 year old in the wedding which should be the flower girl n which should be the miniature bride?

Miniature bride? I have never heard of that. Personally I would make both flower girls. The three year old is too young to be very dependable. The older one can make sure she gets down the aisle without much fuss.

I too have never heard of a miniature bride and I am owner of a wedding planning company. I would have both girls as your flower girls and have them wear white dresses and both have baskets of flower petals to sprinkle down the isle. The three year old will follow the seven year old. I had three flower girls at my wedding all in white and the pictures are priceless. Have a wonderful wedding day.

The miniature bride is basically a flower girl. 7 years old is fine for that.

A 3 year old is unlikely to make it down the aisle alone. They are easily sidetracked, plus its intimidating to an adult to make that long journey down the aisle with everyone watching you, so its worse for a small child. You might want to consider having the 7 year old be a flower girl too.

I nearly ended up with a surplus of flower girls, 4 of them. My fiance has 2 daughters who at the wedding will be 9 & 6. I have 2 nieces who at the time of the wedding will be 7 & 4. Instead of 4 flower girls, we’re having the 2 older girls (one of his daughters, and one of my nieces) be junior bridesmaids.

Mini bride is a tacky, out dated practice, just have them both as flower girls. I don’t understand why you need a smaller version of yourself for your wedding day, it’s a creepy old fashioned thing to do.

I think that the 3 year old is too young to participate in a wedding. I would make the older child a flower girl and have the younger be a guest.
