How often should I water the garden in Florida?

I moved from MI and this is my first year living in Tampa Florida. I want to have a garden, but I want to know how much you water your garden? I am having a lot of different vegetables. Any tips?

I would recommend once a day in the early morning or late evening to avoid evaporation. An hour should be enough I guess. (I’m from the Uk)

Only when it needs it, and NEVER at night, or you’ll get a really good crop of fungi.
