Yikes: How much to sell baby clothes at yard sale?
I am planning on having a yard sale soon and I have alot of baby clothes to sell. I do not want to sell them on Ebay so I was wondering what price to sell them at the yard sale. I sold some baby clothes 2 years ago for $ 1.00 each and a lady thought that was too expensive. I was thinking .50 for them. Is that a good price? Need some opinions. Thanks!

If you are having it more than one day I would start maybe at $ 1.00 the first day for the name brand/expensive clothes, $ 0.50 the next or then if someone asks you if you’ll take $ 0.50 for them accept it. For all the non-name brand stuff I would say $ 0.25-$ 0.50.
You will always have someone complain about the cost of something at a yard sale. I would price the baby clothes as you see its worth. One dollar is not too expensive for a perfect outfit. If someone says it is then too bad. someone will come along and buy it anyway at a dollar. You know yourself they are getting a good bargain even at a dollar. If they want it they’ll pay it.Answer by MoM oF tWo
I don’t think $ 1per item is too expensive, as long as they are in good condition.
I sell my baby clothes $ 1 per diaper shirt or t-shirt, $ 2 pants, $ 3 sweaters and $ 4/5 per outfit. Or I sell as “lots” and see what they get and give them a good deal for a box of clothes.
Everyone tries to talk your prices down at yard sales anyways so price higher and let them go for cheaper if you want. Clothes are expensive, I still think $ 1 per item is pretty cheap. Good luck!Answer by jean ann j

50 cent is good or find someone who needs them or just give them to the Salvation Army and take it off your taxes.
