USA froze 8-15 billion in assets of Iran in late 70s early 80s:

The firm which represented them, which still exists in NewYork and still represents many foriegn nations did save the bank of Libya(See Google for more info.

As you will find out from google and the last link the USA never gave back the vast majority of this money – we stole it. Neither democrats or republicans batted an eyelash about it.

The USA started freezing assets of Libya back in or a little before Feb 2011. Currently we have 34 billion:

To date, in the history of the entire world this is the largest asset freeze ever. It is simply unheard of. Again Libya has well over 100billion. We(USA) was a little over 1/3 of it now. There is no logical reason to doubt we will not have it all. Democrats & Republicans are equal to blame. Note you do not really have this in the news. Only 1-2(Ron Paul being one) vaguley are speaking about the asset freeze. But, even Ronnie does not say much.

If anything like Iran, it might not be. This has potential to be the biggest bank robbery in the history of the world 100% backed by our government. I could be 100% wrong though. But, it is worth commanding people talk about it.

As far as “al-qaeda rebels”. There is not much solid evidence they are they people we slaughtered in Iraq for a decade. I know there have been some underground news papers and 1-3 similar stories popping up here and there. But, we simply do not know and at present there is simply no way we can.
