Well, probibly like 250 a month!! 🙂
sorry but there is no such thing as an average vet bill.
I have large ponies. for 8 years they saw the vet only for vaccines and that cost £50 a year per pony.
Last year my horses injured thenselves and i’ve paid out nearly £4000 to sort them out!
shoes are not done by the vet anyway, always done by the farrier and even you dont get shoes on then thier feet will need rasping every 6 weeks
Answer by Horse.FeatherzI have two horses and they are very healthy so they don’t cost much. My vet is a bit more expensive than most. You will get charged every time he comes out to your place. You can transport but that is risky and expensive too. My vet comes out about twice a year. $ 40 to come out. He floats the teeth if necessary and give shots, worms etc. A visit for three horses with dental was about 3-4 hundred dollars US. less if they did not need floating. If you wish to transport out of state, you will need some additional tests done (Coggins, etc). I have really healthy horses who are not confined to a small place.
