How much geometry do you need for pre cal?

Nicole d: How much geometry do you need for pre cal?
I signed up for pre cal for school this fall because i was suposed to take a geometry class this summer. I didnt get into the geometry class, and was wondering how much geometry i actually needed to know for pre cal. Do you think i should take it anyway, or change into a geometry class?

There’s not much geometry in pre calculus, its more on algebra and trigonometry…

You need geometry to get a good grasp on trig, and you need trig for pre-cal (some places combine trig and pre-cal). I hated geometry, but loved trig and had no problems in pre-cal. So, you just need a general understanding. As to memorizing theorums (or whatever they are called) and all that garbage…..nah.
