Brunette: How much does gymnastics class cost normally?
I am thinking about signing my 11 year old up for gymnastics. She has never done gymnastics before, but can do a headstand, a handstand against the wall, a somesault, a backwards somersault, a stagger flip, and a tripod headstand. She really wants to learn more. How much does it cost for that? For about maybe one year? We want to try it out for a year to begin with. All mature answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

i used to take gymnastics and it cost $ 11 a week for just one session a week. i dont no how that compares to other places but…it was fun but i shoudve been put in a higher class b/c it was to easy.
My daughter started beginner level two day/week at $ 50 / month. Four years later she trains 4 days/week for 3 hours/day $ 200/month. These fees pale in comparison to the cost of gas to and from practice, 15-18 competition trips per year plus entry fees, leotards and equipment bags, grips,I could keep going but you get the picture. It can be very expensive depending on the level your child is at and the quality of the gymnastics instruction. We are at a small local gym in Alabama. I’m sure it could be more elsewhere. By the way gymnastics is a year round sport. YOU won’t get a break so YOU better be serious, too!Answer by Lori
Here in California classes cost about $ 13 per one hour class. I would not plan on just one year. Either she will like it and want to continue or she will find out she does not like it very quickly.Answer by carson palmer
i do gymnastics competetively, and i do 21 hours a week, and that costs $ 353 a month, the competitions all of them together are about $ 1,500 and thats for about 8 competitionsAnswer by Tessa
Well I do gymnastics right now, but am in a higher competition level. When you first start out it cost about 50 to 75 dollars a month, with maybe one to two practices a week. It depends on what gym you go to. Look around, because some places are so much cheaper and offer the same expierience.Answer by Maddie C
Where I live and go to gymnastics it cost $ 125 for a session and the leotards cost $ 25-$ 30.When I started to compete it cost $ 225 and the leotards are the same and grips cost about $ 15-$ 20. Grips are things that you put on the your hands and keep blister from forming on your hand from the bars.Answer by Just another Teen
For a begginer starting at a local club it would cost about $ 50 to $ 100 dollars a month, depending on the coach’s qualification.
If your daughter is thinking on starting elite gymnastics it would cost about $ 250 to $ 300 a month.Answer by coloradocaitlin
Class prices vary alot! You can always find a gym that has a good price for what you are looking for. Keep in mind that usually higher prices pay for better coaching; you get what you pay for.
Drop in classes can cost between 5 and 10 dollars a class.
Rec-centers usually have good prices, about 100 dollar a month.
Club prices are usually higher, but have excellent coaching. The price changes with the number of hours of practice the gymnast has a week.
Good Luck
Answer by blonde bombshellAt my gym classes are eight weeks and i think are around one hundred dollars. However, it depends on how long the class it and the gym she attends. Classes can range from 1 hour, beginning classes, to 6 hours, which is more for team kids. Also, she is going to need a leotard which is around thirty dollars.Answer by Jill
Where I do gymnastics it costs $ 11 dollars for an hour class. They let you do a trial class and just pay for that one class to see if she likes it. After that classes are once a week, unless you pay for 2 or maybe even more. Then you pay every two months for however many classes there are. If you are unable to make a class you still need to pay for it but they do allow make up classes. If she is good enough they may ask her to move up to a team where they compete, then it is run a little differently. I am on a competitive team now and am paying $ 150 per month for 12hrs a week.Answer by hug whore [♥Niki♥]
well it cost about $ 11 per class
and 45 dallors a month
and if u pay in advanced for a year they will most likely give u a discount
ur daughter will first be in with the beginnings and most of them are very young! but she will quickly move up. becuase it seems like she has lots of things. but it not floor that only matters it bars and beam too! vault is not used by begginers just mainly competive classes.
if ur daughter gets very good and loves it. i would suggest u put her in a competive class. it is about $ 100 per month and the pratice about 5-25 hours a week i suggest AAU is less strickt then USAG
hope that helped <33
wish u and her the best!
