how about giving them birth control? If celebs are so high and mighty, why don’t they give the majority of their multi-million dollar incomes to those poor starving Africans?

It’s mostly just a publicity stunt when it comes to celebrities. The only celebrity I can think of that has truly contributed is Bob Geldof (organized Band Aid and Live 8 etc.).
I know right. It’s like Al Gore Jet setting his way across the world to tell people about Green energy and justifies because he buys carbon offsets…he plant a few trees big deal.
Bonos Net worth is over 200 million, his charitable giving is less than 3% of his net worth. He donates his time, I said TIME that he says is much more valuable.
Like the young lady pointed out about the charities it’s the same thing with the Gates and Buffet. All their money is going into a trust for a foundation their seed will run just like the Rockerfellers…it’s a way of beating the death tax, the following generations will have access to all the money and stock.
FYI, I am for the Death Tax for anything over 2.2 million dollars. If your so frigging greedy to die with that much money and assets in life instead of giving it to the ones you loved in life TAX it. That 2.2 million number is plenty enough to send a small biz, home, or lifeinsurance to the next generation. If you die owning six car lost and 50 million in cash with seven kids then yes you should be penalized in death for being a horrible greedy person.
