Answer by BluebirdMy daughter doesn’t go to daycare and I haven’t counted her clothing but I am guessing maybe 6 pairs of pants, 10 shirts, a few pairs of shorts, and maybe 5 dresses.Answer by srobersonnc
I’ve gotten a huge batch of hand-me-downs from a friend, so a lot of my daughter’s clothes aren’t new. She has, for summer:
4 casual cotton dresses
4 skorts
4 pairs of shorts
2 pairs of jeans
3 pairs stretchy pants
3 pairs cotton pants
3 bathing suits
at least 15 short sleeved or sleeveless shirts
I do keep certain clothes for her to wear on the weekend only, because the clothes she wears to Grandma’s get grubby and they don’t usually leave the house anyway.
Answer by mama <3My daughter always ends up with way more clothes than she needs. I like to shop the clearance section at Target and get things while they are on sale and I always seem to buy more than she can ever wear without realizing it.
Of her clothes that currently fit she has about 20 pairs of pants, 12 pairs of shorts, 30 short sleeved shirts, 10 long sleeved shirts, 20 outfits, 15 dresses, 15 sweaters/jackets, 8 pairs of shoes/sandals, 4 swimsuits, and about 20 pairs of pajamas.
Most of these clothes she has never worn or has only worn a couple times and unfortunately she probably won’t wear them much more than that before she outgrows them. I think half of that would be plenty enough to get through a season. She doesn’t go to daycare but I don’t think I would have specific clothes for her to wear, although I don’t think I would send her in nice clothes or dresses.
