GregQuimby: How many vacations does your family go on each year?
For me and my family, we take about three or four. Though it’s more affordable for me because I have a vacation club membership which entitles me to stay at very high-end luxury resorts for extremely low prices. And it’s my mission to help families enjoy more vacations while spending less money for their travel. The economy is affecting a lot of families, so I feel they should be able to enjoy and easily afford at least two luxury vacations each year.

I’ve changed my vacation style due to finances. Instead of one or two larges vacations a year, I opt for mini 3 day getaways to destinations near or within my state. I live in CA, and in the past year have visited/stayed in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Flagstaff Arizona. Pretty happy with the mini-getaways!
We usually go on 6-13 no joke…this year we have been on 3 and probably 1 more bc of the economy..Answer by Doc Bill
I’s just my wife and me now; the kids are all grown, educated and on their own…so we take five or six mini-vacations a year. Most of the time they’re four days or less – we’re history buffs, particularly of the American Civil War….six years ago, we went on a six-day “Civil Wargasm”, visiting a dozen major battlefields – Bull Run, Antietam, Harper’s Ferry, Petersburg, Gettysburg, Chancellorsville – what a blast! And I mean that literally – we’re re-enactors, and when we go to a Civil War site now, we attend a re-enactment of said battle…you ain’t experienced the Civil War until you’ve experienced the artillery barrage that opened the second day of Antietam!Answer by AJ

We take around 5-6 vacations. Last year, 3 out of 6 was a snowboard vacation. We really love skiing and snowboarding.
