The Dark Knight: How many teens watch porn and is it okay?
I’m 14, and recently after feeling guilty to have seen a few pictures of naked women while my hormones were raging (which happens a lot) I discovered that actually quite a few teens watch porn. Is it okay if I watch it, but in moderation? I’m a mature person for the most part but my self-control disappears altogether when my hormones start raging. Please answer what you think and if its okay to watch some in moderation, and also if you have ever done so. Thanks for reading.

It’s normal to explore and question when your teenager, which includes checking out porn.

Watching porn will not make you a deviant – you have to have that tendency to start with.

A large amount do yes, It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Curiosity is the reason for that. (At least that’s why we watch it the first time, the rest is because it’s just plain smexy.)

No, it’s not okay. It teaches males to see women as objects, and then they’re disappointed when real women don’t ACT like porn actresses.

a lot do. you could get addicted to it…which is not a good thing if it’s something you would like to stop but just can’t.
also, it can make people more dependent on visual stimulation in order to get aroused. so, when you are with a person and they’re not ‘hot enough’ or dont meet the same standards, it could become more difficult to get aroused (than if habitual porn had not been in the person’s life)

I’m 24 years old and I’ve been exposed to porn since i was 12 and i have looking at them increasingly but with moderation too! So I’m not going to scold you and say, “THAT’S BAD!!!” Or I’ll sound like a hypocrite if I do!

It is okey to watch, my hormones are always raging either like 2-3 times. Especially when i am not with my girlfriend. Honestly, you can watch but do it in privacy. I myself watch 2-3 times a day when i am alone..

Its ok as long as you realize those people are just actors, what they are doing isn’t the same in real life and its not interfering with you other activities, i.e. skipping school to watch it.

Yeah it’s normal I mean what teenager doesn’t watch it? some watch it more than others, I myself watch it like once a month. Point is, WE ALL WATCH IT : )
