How long does paypal take to withdraw money from bank after e-bay purchase?

TommyEquals: How long does paypal take to withdraw money from bank after e-bay purchase?
I bought a jacket on ebay. Though ebay I linked to Paypal while purchases, logged in and purshased it with my debit card.
On my paypal, the status of the transaction on status it says completed. However when I check my debit card balanced it is the same since before I bought the jacket..
Is something wrong, or will the paypal eventually take out the founds from my bank account.
It has been 2 days so far.

if the funds were taken using a debit card , the payment then is intstant , if you paid using you bank account (checking or saving) then it will take about 3 days to clear
