Ningii-waabamaa Okemos: How long does it take to study for the following Accounting and Finance certification exams?
CFA – Chartered financial analyst
CMA – Certified Managerial Accountant
CPA – Certified Public Accountant
CFM – Certified Financial Manager
CFP – Certified Financial Planner
I am thinking of taking the CMA/CFM before I take the CPA and then the CFA, I want to work in Invemstment Banking or at a Private Equity firm someday but I believe taking these exams and licenses will enhance my ability.

CFP Certification is an intensely structured program spread over 6 months with over 230+ hours classroom study.
The CFP Course curriculum, prescribed by FPSB consists of six modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Financial Planning
Module 2: Risk Analysis & Insurance Planning
Module 3: Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits
Module 4: Investment Planning
Module 5: Tax & Estate Planning
Module 6: Advanced Financial Planning
