Concerned Patient: How long after intercourse should I wait until starting my antibiotics?
I am currently on a birth control pill. If I just recently had intercourse, how long do I need to wait before starting on antibiotics? I know that antibiotics negate birth control pills so will there be a chance of pregnancy if I take antibiotic pills the day after having intercourse?

start taking them now it’s fine
No you can take them right away. Its not even a true proven fact that they cause BC pills to lessen their effect. To be on the safe side just use a condom while on the antibiotics as well. You can start taking them now!Answer by Chrissy
3 days or take the morning after pill and then start on your antibiotics as soon as the doctor or pharmacist says you can.Answer by i_love_marilyn_monroe
Honestly, I’d ask your doctor or nurse. That’s not something you want to mess up. Good luck!
