VDJ44: How long after intercourse does it take for the sperm to make it into the fallopian tubes?
I don’t remember ever reading this.. if you have intercourse within hours of ovulation, do the sperm still have time to meet the ovum?

remember sperm will stay in the female 3-5 daysAnswer by ♥Hey Y’all♥
Yes… but I read on a website that sperm swim 2 to 3 centimeters per hour inside the womans body. The best chance for fertilization would be if he penetrated deep and kinda pushed the sperm thru your cervix. That would give them a head start.Answer by nikki g
well sperm stays in the woman’s body for 7 days then dies off so anytime in them 7 days you can become pregnant. i think it takes roughly half a day to makes it way, but then again they are fast swimmers.
Good luck Hun

yes the sperm still has time..before during and after ovAnswer by Jammies
The fastest sperm will only take a couple hours to reach the egg. Stay on your back with your hips elevated as high as you can to help the sperm on it’s pathway to the egg for 20 minutes or longer if you really wanna help them out!! Have the guy stay in you for hopefully a full minute after he ejaculates to help as many sperm possiblethe get through the cervix.
good luck!Answer by taradorff_16
a couple of hoursAnswer by sunflower
You have about 6-8 hours after ovulation before the fertilization window closes. Sperm can reach the egg as quickly as 1 hour (or take up to 5 days). So I suppose the answer is yes, there’s still time… but not much, and I have no idea how you would know when you’ve ovulated that precisely.
