I really need it! Where is chemistry in chewing the bread and drinking the water?

Thermodynamics
Increase in entropy, as larger objects become smaller.
Energy being released from the food.
Enzymes breaking up food.
Etc………..

um…..u can consider dis as bio-chemistry
bread contains rich carbohydrates. Salivary gland secrets saliva which contains an enzyme called amylase. Amylase breakdown 5% of carbohydrate in the bread during your chewing and they will be converted into maltose.
Pancreas secret pancreatic juice and further starch n maltose into glucose. Glucose can be use to generate energy instantly.
Chemical energy carried by the bread has changed into chemical energy of our body.
water is an universal solvent. It provides a medium for substances to carry out chemical reactions inside cells.
Say sugar molecules and salt particles, they are stored in cell sap(cytoplasm).
(juz skip dis part if u find it to complicated^^..i am actually doing revision for my chem test tmr)→[[[Sugar = C6H12O6, which is simple molecular structure. Salt(NaCl sodium chloride) = giant ionic structure. The bond between Na n Cl is weaken by water. Soo…these two substance can dissolve efficiently in our body.]]]
If we drink sufficient water everyday, food granules will be absorbed and react faster and provide us nutrion.
