unguardian217: How important is learning anatomy before drawing manga?
I am having a hard time drawing people, because the proportions, structure, and facial features are hard to know. Would it be a heck of a lot easier if i learn anatomy first?

It’s not so much a question of learning anatomy as it is a matter of learning the basic shapes that make up the human form. You don’t need to know how many vertebrae a person has to know how to draw the arc in the lower back. You just need to be able to see shapes instead of seeing the whole person. The same goes for pretty much anything you draw. If you want to learn figure drawing for manga, check out Tadashi Ozawa’s “How to Draw Anime and Game Characters” series.
Well you should defiantly learn basic anatomy..
Learning the basic things like how long the arms are or how far apart the facial features usually are help a lot.
They really bring your drawings to the next level, kinda.
