Jenny :]: How does university transfer degrees work?
I’m planning to take the running start program next year as a senior at a community college. I was wondering if you need to fully complete the degree in order to transfer it to an university or transfer whatever I have? & how does it work? how do i apply/register for the transfer degree I want?

You don’t transfer degrees from school to school; you transfer credits that you earn from taking classes. Each class you take is worth roughly 3 credits. Make sure the credits you take at the community college (CC) are transferable to the university you intend to go to after you graduate from high school. Most likely the classes you take at the CC will be general education requirements that all students are required to take in order to graduate with a degree. General education classes are classes like English Composition, Math, History, Science classes or Social science classes like Psychology, Sociology or Anthropology.
When you are ready to transfer to the university you intend to graduate from, request for official transcripts from your CC to be sent to the university of your choice. When you apply for admission to that university, they will evaluate your transcripts from the CC to determine which credits they will accept towards your degree program.
Best wishes!
