Alex Asano: How does the body burn calories during an orgasm?
I’ve heard that up to 200 calories can be burned simply by having an orgasm. How exactly does the body expend these calories in this one act?

That’s just a myth! Don’t believe everything you hear!
In not sure but, although im pretty sure, that you either heard wrong or the other person said it wrong. You CAN loose 200 cal but through sexual intercourse with all the movement but an orgasm alone is not enough to loose that many calories.Answer by I_live_forever17 [Julia]

only if sperm have a calorie count but its only through the process on the way to the orgasm that i heard causes you to lose calories such as sexual intercourse, masturbation, and foreplay.Answer by Krista o
if that was true us women would never leave the bedroom, lolAnswer by Bud
You probably burned several calories sitting at your computer typing your question, so yes you do burn calories during sex. As for calories burned “during an orgasm”, again you do burn some, but not anywhere 200. More like 30 to 40. Any muscles used during orgasm will account for the calories burned. For the complete act of sexual intercourse calories burned depends on the particular activity. Anywhere from 100 to 150 calories. That would be the most pleasurable way to loose weight but how long can anyone keep that up on a daily basis?Answer by Chickens Buttcracks 😀
I am sure it must burn some, because i can feel my heart racing when i get one.
Haha, so that’s how the porn stars stay so thin!
