Christy B: How does one learn to become a clairvoyant? Is it even possilbe to learn?
I’m interested in the possiblility of being a clairvoyant. I’m not sure that it’s something one can learn, but maybe you must be born with it….. I’m doing a characterization of a local historical figure. She was clairvoyant and it has piqued my curiosity. I had no idea what to categorize this as, so I’m putting it under arts and humanities. My apologies if I offend anyone. Thanks for the help.

Clairvoyant is a con. Those who practice it are stealing from the innocent and gullible. Find something honest to do with your life.
If what you mean by “clairvoyant” is able to see into the future through extra-sensory means, there is nothing you can do to achieve this because, probably, no one ever has. There is no evidence that clairvoyance is anything but fraud or self-delusion.
That’s not to say that there is no such thing as insight or intuition. I predict that the sun will rise tomorrow, because there’s lots of historical and theoretical evidence supporting that prediction. By knowing a lot about more obscure subjects, one can appear to be clairvoyant.

This is a touchy subject because people will tend to be skeptical, elitist or bored by it all. I think this is chiefly due to a fear of the unknown or simply a lack of information.
It doesnt have to be such a precious subject. Go here : www.mysticfamiliar.com
You will find some lovely genuine and sincere people who will glady discuss most things with you as well as a store of useful and plain speaking information.
I ask though, please go with an open heart and be respectful. I love these people dearly 🙂
