The best way to say it in German without having a literal translation (which does not work here) is:
Lass uns miteinander schlafen.
Don’t trust online translators!

But you can translate it literally “Lass uns Liebe machen” – you just wouldn’t use it, even though everyone knows what it means.
“Liebe machen” – to make love – is a phrase what parents or sexual education teachers would use when speaking to little children… Let’s say, when the little child walks into the room during “the act” and ask “What are you doing there?” and the like.
