Christian S: How do you rescue legitimate emails from getting sent to the spam box?
I don’t have any problems with too much spam; rather, my filter seems to think almost everything is spam! Yahoo keeps sending messages from groups I’ve joined to the spam box, even though I keep finding them and restoring them to my inbox. Is there a way to make sure the inbox accepts certain emails?

Open the legitimate email and select the button “not spam”. This will usually get all future emails from that address delivered to your inbox.Answer by Dream Chaser
Yahoo? Surprising, since they let more spam in then anyone else. But you need to add them to your address book and mark them as “Not spam” when you find them in the spam box.. Eventually, it will get the hint and they’ll show up in your in box instead. But don’t delete your spam without checking it first.Answer by clifford c
some email account may have user settings or filters to set for usually keywords that are related to most spam that sometime legit may accidentally mistaken by the settings as spam . if that happens check the spambox for those legit mails.
on the upper right corner in folders go to SPAMBOX then click on SpamGuard is ON:[Edit Settings]
try to go to SPAM
click on those [?] you see around for details

We’re still tweaking the Yahoo! Mail Filters option. Temporarily you’ll need to access it through the Yahoo! Mail Classic interface. But, rest assured, any changes made will take effect once you’ve reloaded the Yahoo! Mail.
